A Road to Wisdom…Paved with Dua

Who? SHE??? She can’t speak…
She just mumble her words into her mouth…
Speak loudly!!! You’re not audible enough to others…
I think she needs MIC…

There are some people who do not have the potential to speak in front of others…She found herself in their midst, always hesitant to vocalize her thoughts as she believed they held no value to others. Her words seemed insignificant. It was then that she realized she should have penned down her thoughts instead.

Years passed…in her office, she listened to a lecture that resonated with her, prompting her to search for the words spoken by the speaker. Although the words were in Arabic and she didn’t understand their meaning, they deeply moved her. After googling them, she discovered it was a dua. Despite attempting to learn the words, she realized it wasn’t what she intended.

Again few years passed..She was attending a Qur’an class at the academy when she heard the same dua mentioned again. Surprised that it was the same dua the speaker used to recite… she wondered if all speakers recited this dua. What else could she consider at that moment?

Days passed…She was sitting in Daura-e-Qur’an class, the teacher was explaining the ayaat from Surah Tuaha and it just struck her again. She finally got to know that the same dua which she used to listen are actually the ayaat of Qur’an… Allahu Akber! How come she never knew that. For the first time in forever, she got to know the meaning of those ayaat and whose dua is this. A slight shade came in her mind about the context of this dua.

Years passed…she googled again the speaker that she used to listen to when she was in the office. The first video was about the same dua she was looking for! Ya Rabb!! Are you giving me signals??? She thought that…She clicked on the link, get in the lecture, and grasped the context of the dua. In that instant, she decided to memorise the dua, recognizing its growing importance in her life. When trying to express important thoughts, she struggled and felt a tightness in her throat and chest. It dawned on her why she had been receiving signs from Allah about this specific dua.

Yes you guessed it right…the dua that aided Prophet Musa (AS) in addressing Pharaoh’s empire, alleviating the constriction in his chest, and facilitating fluent speech is noteworthy. Additionally, this prayer had the profound effect of appointing his brother Haroon (AS) as a supportive companion during the perilous encounter in Pharaoh’s realm. With his brother’s backing, Prophet Musa (AS) effectively conveyed the message of Allah.
