Allah Created Everything in Pairs

There is a post on the ex-Muslim page claiming that the Quran is wrong.

Here is the argument

You misunderstood the verse because you limited the word “pairs” to only male and female.
In Arabic, the word “zawjayn” (pairs) in Qur’an 51:49 does not only mean husband and wife or sexual partners.
It means two complementary or opposite components that complete each other.
The verse refers to a universal law, not just reproduction.
Science itself shows that everything is based on pairing:
Matter / antimatter
Positive / negative charges
Proton / electron
Day / night
Even DNA has base pairs (A–T, G–C)
As for bacteria or amoeba that reproduce asexually — they still depend on:
paired DNA strands
paired chromosomes
molecular pairing
So even “asexual” life is built on pairs at the genetic level.
Therefore, the verse is not wrong — your interpretation is.
