Sitting in my room suddenly a great thrush of music struck my ear. I was shocked, thought as if there was any sort of wedding event going on in the back of the hostel. But after a while I realized the sound is of a Milad going on in the Masjid nearby. I was astonished confused and stretched tight as the event where such a huge music and voice was being conducted in the Masjid of Allah . The DJ was playing in the Masjid, of religion which prohibits Music at all and far from it, it’s being played in Masjid, a place that is used to call people towards Allah…. I’m not over the point whether milad is permissible or not… Whether forbidden or obligatory… The point to talk about is;
Sayyiduna Abu Malik al-Ash’ari (Allah be pleased with him) reports that he heard the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him & give him peace) say:
"“There will appear people in my Ummah, who will hold adultery, silk, alcohol and musical instruments to be lawful.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari)"
Are the followers of such a religion and people representing Islam are being so negligent that they have considered the masajid of Allah, a place to play and ruin its dignity deliberately.
Ibn Muflih al-Hanbali, from the Hanbali School of jurisprudence, said in his book Al-Adaab ash-Shar’iyyah:
"“It is Sunnah to protect the mosque from useless and idle talk, and raising the voice with what is disliked; this implies that it is not disliked if the talk is permissible or desirable, and this is the view of Abu Haneefah and Ash- Shaafi’i رحمه الله Abu Abdullah ibn Battah – said: “It is a Sunnah to mention Allah and speak about (Islamic) knowledge in the mosque, and to avoid indulging in useless and idle talk and speaking about worldly matters in it, as this is disliked. Many threatening and difficult narrations have been narrated with sound and authentic Sources and trustworthy men, among which is what was narrated from ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ood that the Prophet said: “At the end of times, people will sit in mosques while their only purpose is worldly matters; so do not sit with them, for Allah has nothing to do with them.”"
Despite just raising voices or laughing at what point we people are now….Isn’t it heart wrenching when you see a beggar in Masjid.. the place of humility in front of Lord of the lords … People are humiliating in front of other people just like them…The place where one should beg before Allah when you see someone asking from their fellow human beings… It’s like the sky is about to burst and earth is about to blast. One should be aware while in the mosque one keep focus on none other than Allah (SWT) , as He says in the Qur’an:
